Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has been named in Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week alongside Gareth Bale.
The Spurs striker set up two goals for Bale and scored two himself as Jose Mourinho’s charges beat Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Kane has now directly been involved in 40 goals in 36 games in all competitions this season – 23 goals and 16 assists – the most of any player for a Premier League club.

In addition, Kane linked up with Son Heung-min to score their combined 14th league goal of the league campaign, and in doing so, broke a record which stood since the mid-1990s.
Shearer and Chris Sutton previously held the record, which stood at 13, from their league-winning campaign of 1994-95.
Kane and Bale’s efforts have seen them make the cut for Shearer’s latest TOTW.
“Highlighted his all-round ability with two magnificent goals and two assists,” the Premier League legend said about Kane.
And of Bale, Shearer said: “Two more goals and looking like a different player now.”

What can be said about Kane that hasn’t already been said? He is one of the best strikers in world football, if not the best.
It’s great to see Bale make the cut as well – he struggled for a while but has now finally hit form and is looking great for the North Londoners.
