Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has made it into Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week.
The 21-year-old was impressive once again for the Gunners as they overcame Liverpool at the weekend.
Martinelli opened the scoring after just 58 seconds, finishing from Martin Odegaard’s through-ball.

The Brazilian gave Trent Alexander-Arnold and then Joe Gomez a torrid time throughout.
He was Arsenal’s biggest and most effective threat on the counter, and also provided an assist for Bukayo Saka.
Martinelli showed once again that he’s a superstar in the making.
His efforts saw him make Shearer’s XI, alongside Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
And the Premier League icon said Liverpool simply couldn’t cope with Martinelli.
“Liverpool couldn’t handle his runs in behind, his quick feet or his vision,” he wrote on the Premier League website.
“He fully deserved his goal and assist.”

Martinelli has had to bide his time at Arsenal, but now he’s in full swing and looking unstoppable.
The Gunners paid just £6million for him, and surely he’s worth 10 times that amount already.
Best of all, Martinelli is just one of several top players at Arsenal who look like future superstars.
The future is bright at N5.
