Alan Shearer has now been discussing one individual Manchester United display after yesterday’s seismic win over Liverpool.
Erik Ten Hag will have been so relieved to see his Man United side turn the game around, booking their spot at Wembley.

A favourable tie against Coventry City now awaits on April 20th and all associated with United must be confident of progressing to the final.
Yes, Coventry deserve their spot following some excellent wins, but Ten Hag’s side should be dominating that tie.
United looked exciting going forwards against Liverpool yesterday, buoyed by the addition of Scott McTominay in midfield.
And whilst the Scot coming in for Casemiro didn’t exactly help matters from a defensive perspective, it certainly added threat up top.
That being said, it was a different United attacker who impressed Alan Shearer against Liverpool yesterday.
Speaking on ‘The Rest Is Football’ podcast, Shearer thought Marcus Rashford proved his rich ability once again.
Despite missing a chance to win the game in regular time, Rashford did pop up with a crucial finish in extra time, inspiring the late turnaround.

Shearer pointed out that strikers always get the chance to rectify their misses, and credited Rashford for doing just that.
He said: “There is unbelievable talent there, we know that.

“The one he missed, you could see the agony on his face but as a forward you know that if you miss one you always get the opportunity to rectify that and it was a great finish when it came to him.”
Of course, it was clear just how relieved Rashford was when he scored his goal, a player determined to make a difference for his boyhood club.
There’s always a ton of talk around the England forward, he’ll never have a quiet 90 minutes, but ultimately he was able to help decide yesterday’s game in a positive way.
That being said, Manchester United fans will surely now be hoping Rashford can pick up some momentum with England during the next week or so, ready for an important run in.
And although Rashford impressed, it was a different player both Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes were celebrating after the game.
