Alan Shearer named Aston Villa star Jack Grealish in his Premier League Team of the Week and raved about 25-year-old’s performance against Leicester City.
The Villans star recently started for England against Wales in a friendly but was left out for the games against Belgium and Denmark, with Gareth Southgate feeling he still has something to prove.
Grealish has registered three assists and scored four goals so far this season and he is very much integral to the way Dean Smith wants his team to play.

Ross Barkley netted the only goal of the game at the weekend as Villa made it four wins from four in the Premier League this season.
Shearer was quick to praise Grealish for his showing once again, placing him in his best performing start of the week.
He told the Premier League’s official website: “Once again he was outstanding, he was the driving force with his close control, incisive runs and clever passes.”
Grealish has shown a great deal of maturity under Smith’s management at Villa Park and is now one of the Premier League’s top performing players.
Villa have been the surprise package of the current campaign and that has been largely down to Grealish.

The homegrown talent signed an extension to his contract in the summer and is clearly enjoying his football at his boyhood club.
If former players like Shearer are regularly raving about the versatile performer then surely Southgate will take notice sooner rather than later.
