Alan Shearer hailed West Ham after they inflicted Tottenham’s first loss at their new stadium,.
The Hammers produced a brilliant away display to pick up three points in the Premier League and continue their recent form of late.
They secured a deserved 1-0 away win, as Michail Antonio scored a brilliant goal from close-range after a cross from teammate Marko Arnautovic.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are still pushing to break into the top-1o of the league, while Spurs may have had one eye on their Champions League semi-final against Ajax next week.
Shearer was majorly impressed by West Ham following their display at the weekend and singled out defender Issa Diop.
The 22-year-old commanding centre-back was named man of the match after he was solid in the defence.
“Some terrific performances from West Ham today Antonio, [Mark] Noble, [Ryan[Fredericks all excellent but the best was Issa Diop magnificent at the back again,” Shearer wrote on his personal Twitter account.

TBR’s View:
Diop was left on the bench for the last three league games, but he returned to the side against Spurs and was monstrous in defence.
The French centre-back has been a regular starter for the majority of the season and it looks like a small rest has been beneficial.
He managed to shackle the Spurs attackers during the game, while he even showed a rare attacking run where he burst through on goal and saw his tame effort saved.
Diop cost the Hammers £22million (BBC) in the summer and it’s been an impressive first campaign in English football for the youngster.
