Former England striker, Alan Shearer, believes Harry Kane is among three players who Manchester City should look to sign to bolster their attacking ranks.
Sergio Aguero has missed large chunks of the season once again, while Gabriel Jesus has not quite fired as Pep Guardiola would have liked.

Obviously, talk has shifted to if City will make a move for someone in the summer. And with seemingly unlimited resources, they could well have the pick of the world’s best if they do choose to sign a new forward.
And Shearer, speaking to Talksport, believes Spurs star Kane is among three who City could target to guarantee goals.
“There’s three that could do a job. One would be Harry Kane. The other would be Mbappe and the other would be Haaland,” Shearer said.
“I’m not talking to try and get Kane to leave Tottenham cos we all know what he means to that club. But he’s an outstanding forward. With the chances City create, any half-decent striker should be scoring 30 league goals.”

Talk continues to creep in around Kane’s future with Spurs. Despite his goalscoring heroics and all around performances, things have dipped off under Jose Mourinho of late. A top four place is now very much a battle for Spurs, despite sitting top earlier in the season.
TBR View: Kane would be exceptional at Man City, but Spurs would demand huge sums
All three strikers Shearer mentions here are world class forwards but Kane would, arguably, be the most expensive. Such is his value to Spurs, they’d be demanding upwards of £150m for sure.
Haaland might be the cheaper option, given his apparent release clause. Mbappe, meanwhile, is likely to end up in Madrid given all the talk in recent months.
But the thought of Kane at City is a frigthening one. If they did sign him, it would be game over for the rest of the league.
