The dust has just about settled on the craziness of the Premier League yesterday.
A remarkable set of results was capped off by Aston Villa’s 7-2 demolition of champions Liverpool at Villa Park.
Dean Smith’s side produced a performance to remember, as they put Jurgen Klopp’s shellshocked Reds to the sword on Sunday night.

The night was particularly special for Ollie Watkins, who bagged a perfect hat-trick in the first half.
These were his first goals in the Premier League following his move from Brentford that could reach a reported £33 million (BBC Sport).
Fans obviously went wild for the £75,0000-a-week star (Spotrac) on social media, but there was further praise for the 24-year-old.
Speaking on Match of the Day 2, the Newcastle United legend said: “It wasn’t just his goals that impressed me – it was his hold-up play, the strength. He’s too strong for you. Bringing people into the game.
“Running in behind he was a constant nuisance, they just couldn’t live with him. We said he should have scored more – he perhaps should have.
“What a day for him and what a day for Aston Villa.”
TBR’s View – Villa have their quality striker at last
Watkins’ performance was sensational, and it appears the club have struck gold.

Many eyebrows were raised at the price tag, but with five goals in all competitions to his name already, Watkins is already proving fantastic business.
As Shearer said, it wasn’t just Watkins’ goalscoring that was highly impressive, his link-up play was just as good, and he could genuinely flourish playing with Jack Grealish in and around him.
