Alan Shearer raved about Roberto Firmino and named him in his Premier League Team of the Week for his showing in the 7-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old was in red-hot form, scoring twice and creating an assist during the comprehensive rout.
He has scored five goals during 2020/21 and looks to be edging back towards his best form.

Some have questioned his inclusion on a regular basis amid the signing of Diogo Jota but injury has allowed Firmino the chance to shine again.
Shearer was impressed with his performance at the weekend and suggested Firmino was the main man.
He told the Premier League’s website: “So often the team player who allows the other forwards to shine, he took centre-stage with two goals of such high quality and an assist.”
TBR View – Time for respect to go on Firmino
A lot of unwarranted criticism has been thrown towards the Brazilian during the last 12 months.
Last season he struggled for goals scoring 12 in all competitions as Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both scored in excess of 20.
Nobody ran further than Firmino during last season and his work rate is arguably unrivalled in the Liverpool ranks.
Against Palace, he was back to his best and scored two excellent goals during the win.

The £180,000-a-week star had looked like losing his place to Jota but it would seem he has the trust of Klopp.
Liverpool are a well-oiled machine and once again the manager has got his team on course for another title.
The hope for Firmino is that he will kick on once again and become the feared number nine he once was.
If he does that, it looks ominous for the rest of the division.
