Alan Brazil has suggested that Mikel Arteta should sell Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey due to his struggles with injury.
Speaking on TalkSPORT (2/11 6:15am), Brazil discussed the current state of Arsenal’s squad.
Arsenal haven’t been at their best so far this season after getting off to such a flying start last time out.
Yet, the Gunners still sit just a point behind league leaders Manchester City and have only suffered one defeat in the league.
There have been concerns over a lack of balance in the middle of the park for Arsenal this season.
Indeed, Kai Havertz is struggling to fill the void left by Granit Xhaka while Thomas Partey has only featured four times in the league due to injuries.

Partey is currently sidelined with his last appearances coming against Man City at the start of October. Arteta has suggested he could be back within weeks, rather than months.
But Alan Brazil feels it’s the right time for Partey to move on due to persistent injuries.
Brazil suggests Arteta should sell Partey
Speaking to Harry Symeou on talkSPORT, Brazil discussed the current state of Arsenal’s midfield.
“We brought Declan Rice in which as a massive coup for us, brilliant player,” Symeou said.
“Brilliant, brilliant,” Brazil agreed.
“We brought Kai Havertz in to play in a midfield role which I’m not totally convinced by,” Symeou added.
Brazil then labelled Arsenal’s decision to sign Havertz as a ‘mistake’ before Symeou commented on Partey and said: “And Thomas Partey who I believe would be one of the starting three is not available and he’s never available as he’s constantly picking up injuries.”
“Leave,” Brazil simply added.

Partey has been exceptional for Arsenal since joining for a £45 million fee back in October 2020. But it’s no secret that his progress has been hampered by significant injuries.
Many Arsenal fans were excited to see the Ghanaian link up with Declan Rice in midfield this season. Yet, Partey has only managed 341 minutes of football this term.
It does feel like the right time for Arsenal to move Partey on should he continue to spend lengthy spells on the sidelines.
