Sebastian Haller is reportedly closing in on a move to join Ajax this month in a deal that could see West Ham rake in more than £22million for his signature – and Ajax supporters have responded on Twitter.
Haller, 26, has endured a difficult spell at West Ham. Joining the club for an enormous £45million in the summer of 2018 after he starred for Eintracht Frankfurt, Haller has since failed to make the right impression.
Michail Antonio remains first choice ahead of two-time Ivory Coast man Haller – who has managed just 53 appearances in what is his third season in claret and blue. In that time, he has managed to score only seven goals.

French newspaper L’Equipe say that Ajax are in talks are are set to complete a move for the striker. A deal is believed to be on the verge of completion at around half the figure West Ham initially shelled out – £22.6million.
The Hammers have been linked with strikers this month, including free agent Graziano Pelle after his release from Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng. Bournemouth’s Josh King is also said to be an option.
Ajax supporters reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club are set to spend big and sign Haller and while many are excited at his possible arrival – many have questioned the price tag for Haller.
Haller will be joining a side that have qualified for the Europa League, after finishing third in Champions League’s Group D. They also sit one point above PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie.
