Agent suggests Euro 2020 ace would consider Leeds move, he's 'aggressive' and always on 'front foot'
Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Okay Yokuslu, who is currently at Euro 2020 with his nation.
Yokuslu made a huge impression in the Premier League this year, shining on loan at West Brom.
The Celta Vigo man made just 16 appearances, but he very quickly became a fan favourite at The Hawthorns.
In April, The Athletic wrote: “Yokuslu’s presence as a protector of Allardyce’s back four has enabled other members of the squad to perform at a higher level than before.”
And Albion icon Nigel Quashie tweeted high praise for Yokuslu back in February.
However, West Brom’s relegation means they have virtually no chance of landing Yokuslu permanently.
The Baggies’ loss could therefore be Leeds’ gain, although fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace are also reportedly keen.
The important thing is that the Turkey international seems eager to keep playing in England.
Yokuslu’s agent, Batur Altiparmak, has suggested that a move to Leeds could appeal to him.
There are three or four teams interested in him right now,” El Desmarque quotes Altiparmak as saying.
“If we have an opportunity in Europe we will do it.”

Yokuslu has 35 caps, is playing at Euro 2020, and made a massive impact for a relegation-troubled team in his first stint in Premier League football.
If that doesn’t suggest he’s a top player that’s suited to the English top flight, nothing will.
Better still, Yokuslu’s contract only runs until 2023, so Celta’s hand isn’t excessively strong.
Though Leeds have Kalvin Phillips in their ranks, they could certainly do with competition for him.
And Yokuslu would be a superb player to vie with, and deputise for, the England international.
