Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in the signature of Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu. Turkish Football reported last week that Tottenham are keen on the player, along with West Ham United.
Now his agent has confirmed there is interest in his client. As reported by Mundo Deportivo the interest was confirmed, but no teams were mentioned.
“There is interest, but it would be a mistake to mention a team at this time.”
Tottenham Hotspur, however, should not be in the running.
Yokuslu only joined the Spanish side last summer from Trabzonspor and certainly looks a top prospect. He went straight into the Celta first-team and featured in 32 games this season, even finding the net on two occasions.

However, Tottenham cannot gamble on Yokuslu.
This is his first season playing in La Liga and whilst he may have impressed, Celta only narrowly avoided relegation to the Spanish second-tier.
Tottenham need to bring in far more experienced players who will not need time to settle in at the level Yokuslu will in England.
This may be a player to revisit in the future. But for now, Tottenham should steer clear.
