Everton have the chance to take a look at Ryan Fraser up close this weekend, following recent comments made by former Premier League manager Tim Sherwood.
The ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss said that the Toffees or Leicester City would be a good next move for the Scotsman’s career.

He said on Sky Sports’ The Debate: “It’s important for him to go somewhere and not have two years off.
“The next move for him, and no disrespect to Bournemouth, is one just underneath [the top six]. Like a Leicester or an Everton. And then he’s still young enough to make that next step”
Fraser was strongly linked with a move away from Bournemouth in the summer, with Arsenal seeming his most likely destination.

A move never materialised and the Cherries were able to retain the livewire for the 2019/20 season.
Fraser is now into the final year of his contract, and could leave on the cheap in January for free next summer.
TBR’s view
Everton should absolutely be taking a close look at Fraser given the player’s contractual situation.

He has emerged as a highly capable Premier League footballer over the past couple of seasons and would represent an upgrade on Theo Walcott.
Perhaps a strong outing against the Toffees will see his card marked going forwards – if it isn’t already, of course.
