After Robbie Gotts call-up, when will Callum Nicell get his Leeds United chance?
Leeds United’s last two games have been fairly sensational. The talking point from both games is that Leeds scored in the final minute of both goals to secure all three points and stay top of the Championship.
The fact Leeds have been doing it on bare bones is another positive. That has been made clear by the fact Leeds fielded 19-year-old defender Robbie Gotts on the bench for both games.
So when will Callum Nicell get his next chance?

The Irish youth international was on the bench for Leeds twice last season under Paul Heckingbottom. He watched on during games against Sunderland and Preston North End. However, Heckingbottom rather harshly revealed he was only on the bench due to homegrown player rules.
This season he has had to bide the time, despite being the sort of player that excites Marcelo Bielsa.
However, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Nicell was called up to the Leeds first-team at the same time as Gotts. So clearly Bielsa has his eye on the player.
Whilst he has trained with the first-team, he is yet to feature in a matchday squad this season.
With his talent though, it would surely be only a matter of time and circumstance before Bielsa gives him a chance.
