Following the exciting news that Destiny Udogie has decided to sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur, it’s now time to chase another renewal.
Udogie has been brilliant for Ange Postecoglou this season, a shining light for this new era and project.

And whilst he’s still a relatively new face in North London, it’s one of the old boys that Spurs now need to turn their attention to.
The Harry Kane saga dominated the summer transfer window, a player who ultimately wanted to leave with just a year left on his contract.
And although Spurs did make big efforts to keep their star, they were ultimately unsuccessful.
And although there’s no indication of such a scenario happening with Son Heung-min, Spurs should now be addressing his contract renewal.
Son has been brilliant under Postecoglou, a player reborn under his management.
And amid concern of Son leaving for the Asian Cup in January, a period in which Spurs will miss their talisman, that should now prompt action.
Son is said to have 18-months left on his deal, and at 31-years-old he still has so much left to give.
Tottenham now need to sign Son Heung-Min to a new contract
Son looks incredibly settled at Spurs, as he always has done over the years.
And as was decided with Udogie, now would be the perfect time to sign the face of this new era to a new deal.

Should Son ever decide to leave Spurs then he surely would have a ton of suitors, a player all of Europe’s top clubs would love to have.
And Tottenham simply don’t need that kind of speculation, which will be inevitable if we reach next summer without a new contract signed.
As well as helping the likes of Richarlison, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski reach their rich potential, Son is also vital on the pitch.
And January may unfortunately prove that whilst Son is away in Asia.
And upon his return a new contract has to be the priority for the £22m captain who is now leading by example on and off the pitch.
Whilst it seems Postecoglou is keep to leave some of this current Spurs squad in the past, Son is definitely still the poster boy of the future.
