‘Advantage Leeds’: Some Arsenal fans react to news out of Elland Road

A number of Arsenal fans have commented on the injury situation at Leeds United ahead of Saturday’s game.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners will take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites at Elland Road in the day’s late Premier League kickoff.

Arsenal look set to face a heavily depleted Leeds outfit.

Bielsa could have just 11 senior players available to line up against the Gunners, due to injury and suspension.

Rodrigo, Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips, Dan James, Pascal Struijk, Junior Firpo and Jamie Shackleton are set to miss the game.

However, some Arsenal fans aren’t excited about the news – indeed, some are nervous.

The Gunners faced an injury-depleted Everton not long ago, and fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Arsenal fans have developed a fair bit of self-deprecating humour over the years.

However, the Gunners are back in good form and Alexandre Lacazette is doing a good job as captain.

Elland Road is always a hard place to go to, however.

And Arsenal will need to be top of their game as Leeds are one of those teams who can surprise you.
