Ozan Kabak picked up his first league win since joining Liverpool on a loan-to-buy deal from German side Schalke, as the Reds earned a 2-0 away win over Sheffield United on Sunday evening – and Adrian has made an exciting prediction about him.
The 20-year-old has clocked up four appearances for Liverpool since his loan move from Schalke, the latter of which finally saw him earn his first Premier League win as a Liverpool player. He had recently played in defeats to Leicester and Everton.
The Reds eased to a 2-0 win over Sheffield United thanks to goals from Curtis Jones and Roberto Firmino, and it would have been a whole lot more had it not been for the sparkling performance of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Kabak helped Liverpool keep a clean sheet against the struggling Blades, his second in four appearances after the Reds beat Leipzig in the Champions League 2-0. He posted on Instagram after the win, underlining his delight at the win.
The Daily Star claim Liverpool have landed Kabak on loan for a fee of £1.5million, and will be able to make that deal permanent in the summer if they part with £18million. Having impressed on Sunday, that deal could be getting likelier.
Certainly, stand-in goalkeeper Adrian was impressed. The Spaniard replaced Alisson between the sticks after the Brazilian goalkeeper was granted compassionate leave following the death of his father, and he praised Kabak in response to his post.
