Ajax winger David Neres added to his burgeoning reputation with a goalscoring performance in the Champions League.

The exciting Brazilian wide-man equalised for Ajax in their home fixture against Juventus in the Champions League quarter-final, cancelling out Cristiano Ronaldo’s opener.

Neres has recently been linked with a summer move away from Ajax. And Everton are one of the teams interested in signing him, as per UOL Esporte.

According to French media outlet Le10Sport, Everton’s Merseyside rivals Liverpool are also in the hunt, alongside PSG and Borussia Dortmund.

Everton will be hoping to land the 22-year-old, who has netted 11 goals and provided 10 assists for Ajax this season.

The former Sao Paulo winger is one of the most highly rated young attacking midfielders across Europe and he could be a shrewd purchase for Everton.
