Adams says Liverpool target is the world's most complete midfielder
Tyler Adams has told Men In Blazers podcast that he believes that Jude Bellingham may be the most complete midfielder in the world after coming up against the reported Liverpool target at the World Cup.
Bellingham’s future is going to be a massive talking point over the coming months. He has continuously been linked with a move away almost since the moment he joined Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool have been a key player whenever there is talk about Bellingham. And it does seem that they are going to be in the mix come the summer. The Reds absolutely need to overhaul their midfield in the near future. And the 19-year-old would be a huge statement signing.
Tyler Adams amazed by Jude Bellingham
It does appear that some fear that he is Anfield-bound. The Athletic reported earlier this month that some at Chelsea believe that Jurgen Klopp’s side are on pole position to secure his signature.
Bellingham’s reputation was enhanced by his performances at the World Cup with England. And of course, one of the sides who came up against the Three Lions was the United States.
The USMNT actually produced a superb performance on that night, drawing 0-0. And one of the best players on the pitch that night was Adams.
The Leeds midfielder was asked about coming up against Bellingham. And his answer may well delight Liverpool supporters.
“He’s an unbelievable player, all-around. I would probably go as far as saying he could be the most complete midfielder in the world to be honest,” he told Men In Blazers.
“What doesn’t the kid have? He’s a really talented player. You could just see his mentality on the field, how much he wants to win, how he’ll do everything to win, always wants to get on the ball, comfortable in a lot of situations. He’s a really, really talented player.”
Adams was one of the outstanding players of the group-stages in Qatar. So the fact that he was so impressed by Bellingham says a lot.
Liverpool fans will know just how good Bellingham is. But so many of his peers clearly rate the teenager incredibly highly, too.
It would be huge for Liverpool to sign him in the summer. Their midfield has come in for a lot of criticism in recent times. And signing Bellingham would be the perfect way to revitalise their options in the middle of the park.
