Adam Forshaw still not ready for action after 15 month injury hell, Leeds United journalist confirms
Leeds United journalist Phil Hay has given an update on the injury status of Adam Forshaw and it seems unlikely Leeds United fans will see the midfielder in action again anytime soon.
Forshaw has been struggling with a hip problem for well over a year now. He picked up the problem during a pre-season friendly with Cagliari in 2019 and has not featured in a first-team match for Leeds since the 1-0 loss against Charlton Athletic in September of that year.

That equates to 15 months out of action for the Leeds United midfielder, who missed out on the club’s promotion run-in as a consequence.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, The Athletic’s Leeds United journalist Hay made it clear that Forshaw was ‘still not ready’ for action with Leeds.

it’s hard to know what more to say. Fifteen months since he played now. Has been trying to get over the last hurdle for a long time. I feel really sorry for him, must be extremely demoralising.

It seems that the former Middlesbrough man might be waiting some time to get his next game for Leeds.
It will obviously be a massive personal blow to Forshaw, who has given plenty of energy toward this Leeds team.
Whilst perhaps not a recognised star in Premier League football, the Leeds man would have relished the promotion battle last term and the top-flight football on offer in 2020-21.
Leeds fans will undoubtedly be wishing him the best in his recovery from this awful nagging injury.
Hopefully, in 2021, Forshaw will get his chance to play for Leeds once again.
