Adam Forshaw says Leeds loanee Ben White would be a good fit at Liverpool
Adam Forshaw has told the Leeds That podcast that he thinks Leeds United loanee Ben White would be a good fit for Liverpool ahead of the summer window – with The Reds linked with the centre-back.
White, 22, is set to remain at Elland Road until the end of the season after Leeds reportedly struck an agreement with parent club Brighton to keep him for at least the next nine Championship outings.
The Englishman has played every minute of Leeds’ 37 league games so far and his ball-playing style has attracted interest. Sky Sports claim Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea are keen, while The Sun say he is worth £20million.
Ex-Everton midfielder Forshaw spoke on White’s future and claimed that White is loving his time at Leeds, he believes the central defender would be a good fit for Jurgen Klopp’s side – and reckons he is good enough.
But would a move to the aforementioned trio of Premier League giants see him continue his development? Or would continuing to be first choice under Marcelo Bielsa get the best out of him?
White has gone from a League One loanee to a future England international. If Leeds get promoted, his best move is to stay at Elland Road.
