Leeds United are now top of the Championship after continuing their recent good form yesterday. Leeds picked up a 1-0 win at Bolton Wanderers yesterday courtesy of Patrick Bamford’s second-half finish.
One man whose influence appears to be going under the radar at this time is Adam Forshaw. Signed last January for a fee in the region of £4.5 million, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, it has been difficult for the former Middlesbrough man at Elland Road.

He came into a disjointed Leeds side and then suffered with injury trouble. This season, he missed the opening six games of the campaign and did not start his first game of the season until October. He has since started the last eight games for Leeds, winning six of them. Essentially, he has been like gaining a new signing since October.
Forshaw’s impact was going unnoticed, such as it should for a no-nonsense midfielder. But Leeds fans are undoubtedly starting to appreciate his presence in the middle of the park more and more.
At the start of the season, it was looking like Forshaw might end up falling short of the Marcelo Bielsa standard. Now, he is starting to epitomise it.
