Tottenham and Arsenal might both be in the running to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Marco Asensio, but AC Milan also think they’ve got a big chance of landing him.
According to reports this week, both Spurs and Arsenal are thought to be keen. A report this weekend claimed Tottenham had actually been offered Asensio, while Arsenal were linked with a move just a few days back.
However, a report from Calciomercato this weekend has suggested that Milan have already met with Asensio’s team and they believe they’ve made a strong pitch. CM’s report states how the Italian giants believe their relationship with Madrid can help them do a deal, while they also think Asensio is keen to join.

The Spaniard was once seen as one of the best up and coming talents in Europe. Branded as ‘world class’ by former Spain manager Vincent Del Bosque, Asensio has enjoyed huge success in Madrid. However, he has yet to sign a new contract and the La Liga side could now sell him.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham will be keen to keep tabs on Asensio. The London pair are expected to be busy in the summer window, with a host of new players expected to be targeted.
TBR’s View: Asensio A Man In Demand And Rightly So
There is no doubt that Marco Asensio improves a lot of teams in Europe. The Madrid star can do it all and in terms of what he brings to the attacking third, there aren’t many better in the game.
It is a surprise to see Madrid being so open to seeing him leave. But of course, if they are open to it, then club’s will be keen to get him in. He improves both Arsenal and Tottenham but it’s little wonder AC Milan are also in there.
Milan remain a huge club in Europe and there’d be no arguments from anyone if he did choose the Serie A giants.
