Arsenal could have a free run at signing RB Salzburg midfielder and teenager sensation, Dominik Szoboszlai, after AC Milan decided Ralf Rangnick would not be their new manager.
The Italian giants have given current boss Stefano Pioli a new deal, putting an end to any potential move to Serie A for Rangnick.

And this could have major implications on the future of Szoboszlai, who was said to have been keen on linking up with Rangnick in Milan.
Surely, then, the door is now open for Arsenal to make their move. After being linked previously with a move for the 19-year-old assist machine – Szoboszlai has 18 this season – Mikel Arteta’s eyes will have been opened thanks to Milan’s announcement.
It could mean that the Gunners now have a free run at landing the Hungarian starlet. After reportedly being in talks over a £27m move for the midfielder in June, it appears Arteta may have a free run at Szoboszlai now.
Szoboszlai fits with what Arteta is building at Arsenal
While the Gunners have been linked with a number of players this summer, Szoboszlai seems to be the one who would fit the mould of what Mikel Arteta is building at The Emirates.

Young, hungry to do well, and already proving capable in attacking areas, the 19-year-old could be the ideal long-term replacement for Mesut Ozil.
And while £27m might seem a decent fee, in this day and age, it really isn’t too much money.
If Arsenal can tie up a deal for Szoboszlai, their future looks bright. Putting him alongside the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabi Martinelli, and Eddie Nketiah, could well put the Gunners back into title contention in the coming seasons.
