AC Milan are reportedly interested in buying Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier this month after being linked with the Ivorian in the summer – and Milan fans have reacted to the link on Twitter.
Football London claim that Aurier, 27, has become a target for Stefano Pioli’s side despite some shaky performances at the back for Spurs this season. Under Jose Mourinho, though, Aurier has been a regular on the right side of the defence.
Back in the summer, Milan were linked with the former Paris Saint-Germain defender after Aurier told Spurs he wanted to leave the club – even after Kieran Trippier moved to Spain with Atletico Madrid. Now, Milan are back in for Aurier.

It is believed Milan will look to tempt Daniel Levy with a bid of £15million for the right-back, but the Spurs supremo is believed to ant a figure closer to the £25million (Football London) in which Spurs paid for Aurier. The north Londoners do have replacements readied.
Indeed, West Brom’s Nathan Ferguson and Norwich City’s Max Aarons are both being considered as replacements for Aurier. Kyle Walker-Peters is also set to leave the club, with a number of Premier League sides interested in a loan.
Spurs are also keen on Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek and the report claims a deal could be orchestrated in which both players are included. Milan supporters reacted on Twitter to the reported news, with many feeling Aurier would be a good signing.
