AC Milan considering bumper Richarlison swoop if they qualify for Champions League

AC Milan are keen on a bumper summer swoop for Everton forward Richarlison if they qualify for next season’s Champions League, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

They report that the Italian giants want the Brazilian to spearhead their return to the top of Italian football but know that they can only afford him and will only tempt him if they are in Europe’s elite competition next term.

The report claims that Richarlison craves Champions League football but if he can’t get it, he will happily stay at Everton next season.

And it also claims that the price for the former Watford man is going up all the time; with a 75m euro (£65m) price quoted as the absolute minimum Everton would accept.

Everton don’t need to sell Richarlison and he has actually proved value for money after his summer move from Vicarage Road.

As Marco Silva looks to add more firepower to his Toffees ranks, the last thing he needs is to lose his most potent threat, but a bumper bid would of course soften the blow.

Milan are currently fourth in Serie A on goal difference, meaning that their Champions League qualification is by no means assured and if they aren’t dining at Europe’s top table next season, then they have no hope of landing Richarlison in any case.
