‘Absolutely superb’: Liverpool fans laud Ibrahima Konate for Palace performance

Liverpool won comfortably against Crystal Palace today as they ran out 3-0 winners at Anfield to put another big three points on the board for the Reds.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, and a late stunner from Naby Keita ensured Liverpool saw off Patrick Vieira’s men with relative ease.

Manager Jurgen Klopp opted for a few changes to his XI. Harvey Elliott’s injury meant a change to the midfield. While in defence, Ibrahima Konate made his debut for the club following his signing in the summer.

And it was Konate who caught the eye of Liverpool fans on the day on social media. The big defender started a bit on edge, but over the course of the 90 minutes, proved himself a capable deput for Joel Matip.

Liverpool fans had been excited to see Konate in action, and it seems the wait was worth it judging by today’s performance.
