Former England striker, Darren Bent, is the latest to call for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones to get international recognition if he continues his fine form.
Jones has stepped up to the plate for the Reds this term, playing regularly in midfield while the likes of Thiago Alcantara have recovered from injury.

Still only 19, Jones has impressed Jurgen Klopp enough to keep getting starts in the Premier League. And Bent, speaking on TalkSport yesterday, believes the Liverpool man must start for England if he continues as he is.
“He’s been absolutely superb. For me, when they’re all fully fit as well, I don’t think he’s too far away from that starting midfield,” Bent said.
“Listen, if he’s playing every single week for Liverpool – the best team in this country – when everyone’s fit, then he should be starting for England. Hands down, easily”.

Jones will be hoping to maintain his form and place in the first XI. He will, of course, be aware that the Reds have a depth of talent in the ranks, so will have to show some patience at some points, too.
England beckons, without doubt – TBR View
Darren Bent is bang on here about Jones. He will be in the England squad and as Bent says, if he’s playing all the time, then Gareth Southgate simply won’t be able to ignore him.
Jones’ performances deserve the recognition they deserve and it’s only a matter of time before we see him for the Three Lions.
