Aston Villa continued their fine Premier League campaign by brushing aside Crystal Palace despite having ten men for the second period.

Ollie Watkins was the standout performer for the Villans, netting a hat-trick of assists, while the likes of El-Ghazi, Hause, and Grealish all impressed once again.

The win moved Villa up to sixth in the table and they look a genuine threat to make a run at the European places under Dean Smith, a far cry from that we saw last season.

Villa fans, understandably, were delighted with the showing of some players on social media, and it was Watkins who got the most attention on Twitter as the Villa supporters lapped up his display.

The former Brentford man is proving to be quite the signing and some Villa fans, once again, loved what they saw from Watkins.
