‘Absolutely not’: Tottenham fans react as Paulo Gazzaniga is linked with Liverpool

Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga could be on his way to Liverpool before the deadline.

The Independent claimed this morning that the Argentinian could be on his way out of Spurs, with Hugo Lloris and Joe Hart now both ahead of him in the pecking order.

It’s a shame for Gazzaniga, who filled in admirably last season for Lloris. But Jose Mourinho opted to move for Hart in the summer and that has shifted him down the ladder.

But a move to Liverpool could be a blessing for the 28-year-old. The Reds need a new stopper with Alisson out and Adrian enduring another nightmare last night at Villa,

Spurs fans, though, don’t seem to keen on the idea of losing Gazzaniga, judging by some of the replies on Twitter.
