Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left excited with claims that Heung-Min Son and Steven Bergwijn could return against Chelsea.
The London Evening Standard say that the Tottenham attackers, who both missed this weekend with injury, may both be fit for Sunday’s all-London clash.
There is apparently growing optimism around Tottenham that both Son and Bergwijn will be fit.
And that has certainly pleased Spurs’ supporters, with the reaction on Twitter one of joy.
Understandable joy
Tottenham fans’ happiness at the news is very much understandable.
Tottenham will need to be at their very best to beat Chelsea, with Thomas Tuchel’s side starting the season brilliantly.
Chelsea have taken 10 points from their four games and have looked excellent in doing so.
Tottenham have also made a solid opening to their campaign, although their latest defeat – without Bergwijn and Son – was worrying.
If Son and Bergwijn are fit, they are both likely to start – as the pair have been integral players under Nuno since he arrived.
