‘Absolutely gutted’: Liverpool fans react to Klopp’s Thiago Alcantara injury update

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, delivered more bad news for Reds fans today as he confirmed Thiago Alcantara is unlikely to play before the end of the year.

Thiago has not featured for the Reds since the game with Everton a few months back. He sustained a nasty looking knock to the knee and has struggled to get over it.

However, despite Klopp admitting there was no structural damage or breaks as such, the German did confirm to reporters today that Thiago is still not right and will need a few more weeks to recover.

Liverpool fans, then, have been having their say on the news on social media, with Twitter awash with comments about Thiago.

It seems Reds supporters share mixed views on the subject. While some are disappointed at the signing not working out, others remain optimistic the Spaniard can make a big difference come January.
