A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to praise Kyle Edwards as he shone for Slaven Bilic’s Baggies in last night’s League Cup second-round victory.
West Brom were up against Football League newcomers Harrogate at The Hawthorns and, despite Bilic making 10 changes from the Leicester loss, cruised to a 3-0 win over the Yorkshire side.
Rekeem Harper opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a superb long-range effort into the corner of the net following a 360 turn to get the better of his markers.

Just four minutes later, Albion were two to the good as Hal Robson-Kanu collected Cedric Kipre’s pass outside the box, took a touch and curled a sensational strike into the back of the net.
The hosts went on to get a third in the 77th minute as some sublime skill from Edwards saw him beat his man on the byline and then deliver for Callum Robinson to tap home from close range.
Aside from his assist for Robinson, the 21-year-old looked sharp from the early stages and made several great contributions including a ball across the face of goal that Charlie Austin just failed to get a touch on.
Plenty of Baggies fans were pleased with Edwards’ exploits and praised him on social media:
