‘Absolute baller’: Tottenham fans react to Dele Alli performance against Liverpool

Tottenham and Liverpool played out an enthralling encounter in north London this afternoon as Harry Kane returned to goalscoring form and also offered up the most controversial moment of the game.

Kane stayed on the field despite what looked like a high challenge. On the reverse, Andrew Robertson was sent off for Liverpool with a decision that is sure to infuriate Reds manager Jurgen Klopp. However, away from the refs and VAR, it was a fine demonstration of top Premier League football.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte was forced into a number of changes due to Covid cases and injury. And one of those players he selected on the day, Dele Alli, put in a good performance on his return. Indeed, he impressed with a number of touches and looked like he wanted to prove a point.

Naturally, Tottenham fans were delighted to see Dele Alli back. And in usual fashion, Twitter was awash with comments from Spurs supporters praising their man.
