Tammy Abraham’s transfer future is in his own hands and he is set to make a decision today, according to the Express and Star.
They report that the two-cap England striker has a loan offer on the table from Premier League side Wolves and he has the opportunity to cut short his spell with Aston Villa.
It was reported at one point that Wolves would buy Abraham, with the financial incentive on offer to Chelsea enough to make them call him back from Villa Park in order to sell him on.
But now Abraham has two loan offers, the choice is his; remain at Villa, where he can spearhead a promotion bid as the main man in Dean Smith’s attack or take the opportunity to test himself in the top flight again.

Recently, Smith said that he had no indication from Abraham that he wanted to leave Villa Park and now that the decision is back in the striker’s hands, he may feel more confidence that he will remain a Villa player for the rest of the season.
In truth, it would be better for Abraham’s development to remain at a place where he is happy, settled, playing every week and firing, rather than taking a gamble for the sake of a few months in the Premier League.
The top flight will be a possibility next season after this hugely impressive season – with or without Villa – and now is the time for Abraham to prove Smith’s confidence right.
