Liverpool fans have expressed their delight in seeing Harvey Elliott earn his first call-up to the England Under-21s.
The Reds announced the news on Friday, with Curtis Jones also set to link up with the Young Lions.
Elliott and Jones have been included in Lee Carsley’s squad for two games in September.

England’s Under-21s will contest a friendly match with Romania on Friday September 3.
Four days later, they’re in Under-21 European Championship qualifying action against Kosovo.
Elliott arrived at Anfield to much fanfare in 2019 and he’s broken into the first team this season.
After an impressive pre-season with Jurgen Klopp’s side, he came on as a sub at Norwich before playing 90 minutes against Burnley.
Elliott has all the makings of a future superstar and the Reds faithful can’t wait to see him make his mark at England U21 level.
