Aaron Ramsey says Tottenham had an ‘incredible’ player who was better than anyone he played with at Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey has played with some fantastic players during his career.

From Mesut Ozil to Alexis Sanchez, Ramsey was lucky enough to share the pitch with some truly world-class players during his time at Arsenal.

The midfielder spent his very best years at the Emirates, but when asked to name his greatest-ever teammate, he actually named a former Tottenham player.

Indeed, speaking to JD Football on TikTok, Ramsey has claimed that Gareth Bale is his greatest ever teammate, claiming that the winger was an incredible player who was brilliant to play alongside.

Ramsey spoke about the former Tottenham man.

“Who’s the best player you ever played with?” Ramsey was asked.

“Best player I’ve played with is Gareth Bale. To see him in his prime and doing some of the things he was doing was just incredible to see,” Ramsey said.

Ramsey may well have played with some world-class players during his time at Arsenal, but Bale may well be the best of the bunch.

The winger did some truly amazing things for Wales during his playing career. He almost single-handedly took them to a Euros final, and he did ultimately help them achieve their dream of qualifying for the World Cup.

Yes, the likes of Ozil, Sanchez and even Santi Cazorla were all incredible for Arsenal, but Bale was on another level, especially when he pulled on a red shirt and played for his country.

Bale may have slowed down a lot towards the back end of his career, but he never ever let Wales down, putting absolutely everything he had into every performance for his country.

Bale was a truly amazing player, and the fact that Ramsey has named him as his greatest ever teammates is a true testament to his ability.
