Aaron Ramsey previously gave a swift answer when asked if he would join Tottenham Hotspur
Aaron Ramsey appears to be a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, with reports suggesting Juventus have offered the Welshman to the club.
The Sun claim that Juventus could be interested in splitting in half the cost of his £400,000-a-week wages in a loan deal that would see Jose Mourinho get his hands on a player he admired whilst boss at Manchester United.
Indeed, back in 2018, Ramsey was being linked with a potential move to Old Trafford, following in the footsteps of Robin van Persie and Alexis Sanchez.
During the same period, he was asked about a potential move to Tottenham.
So much so, he was even asked if he would consider swapping North London rivals, as it became clear the Gunners were no longer willing to negotiate a new deal with the midfielder.
He was quite blunt in his answer, as reported by The Guardian.
When asked if he would be interested in a move to Tottenham he responded sharply and succinctly with a singular, “No!”
So there it is, ‘no’ was the short and sharp answer Ramsey gave when asked about a move to Tottenham,
Given he was one of the Arsenal players often keen to get involved in any needle among the two clubs in North London derbies, it should come as no surprise.
However, with first-team football seemingly off the table in Turin and Mourinho a clear fan, that viewpoint might have changed for the former Arsenal favourite.
