Arsenal proved their top four credentials this evening with a mighty fine 1-0 win at Wolves, as defender Gabriel scored to give Mikel Arteta’s side all three points.
It wasn’t all rosy for the Gunners, though. Once again, they suffered from ill-discipline, this time in the form of Gabi Martinelli, who was booked twice in quick succession to get his marching orders. However, Wolves couldn’t quite muster the equaliser and Arsenal held on.

Of course, one man who will be delighted with the 1-0 win is goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale. The former Sheffield United man was once again crucial for the Gunners and he will have loved the clean-sheet. In fact, there’s no question about his enjoyment of the result, given how he reacted after the final whistle.
Ramsdale, as shared on Twitter by Chris Wheatley, was seen celebrating like mad in front of the Arsenal fans, before getting a bit of the booing treatment from the Wolves end. Of course, as we all know, Ramsdale seems to live for the crowd interaction, with both home and away fans.
Nonetheless, it was yet another pouring out of emotion from Ramsdale, who has seemingly made it his mission at Arsenal to be a fans favourite. Certainly, another clean-sheet did his chances of cementing that thought process no harm.
TBR’s View: Ramsdale Loving Arsenal Life
Aaron Ramsdale definitely loves the limelight, doesn’t he? Nearly every week – or when Arsenal win that is – he’s up to something to capture the attention.
You can’t deny it works, though. Ramsdale seems to have the Gunners fans in the palm of his hands so really, you have to applaud it.
There will be bumps in the road for the England stopper. But for now, he’s clearly enjoying his time as a Gunner and seemed to love another 1-0 win tonight.
