There could well be some significant movement at Arsenal come the end of the season, with several senior players likely to leave permanently despite having once been key for the Gunners.
Aaron Ramsdale is one such player. The Arsenal goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium after David Raya took his spot in between the sticks.
Kieran Tierney is another such player. Previously a nailed-on starter at Arsenal, he has also fallen out of favour at N5, so much so that he was allowed to leave on loan last summer.
The 26-year-old is currently playing for Real Sociedad. On Friday, he helped the Basque side to a 2-0 win over Cadiz, which brought them closer to La Liga’s top five.
Tierney took to Instagram after the match to thank fans for their support, and Ramsdale was on hand to compliment his fellow Arsenal player.
The Gunners goalkeeper wrote “that’s the boy”, along with a heart emoji and a fire emoji. In return, Tierney replied to his comment with a heart emoji.

It’s nice to see Ramsdale pay homage to Tierney, but at the same time it’s sad to think that there’s a good chance we’ve seen the last of them two playing together at Arsenal.
Both players have been instrumental in the Gunners’ rise from banter club to Premier League title and Champions League challengers.
Ramsdale has made 89 competitive appearances for Arsenal, while Tierney has donned the red and white shirt 124 times.
Both Ramsdale and Tierney are quality players and no doubt both will be playing for top clubs next season if they do leave, which in all fairness, looks likely.
