Leeds United officially secured their promotion to the Premier League on Friday, which prompted a wave of excited responses from supporters and some ex-players too.
West Brom’s 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield on Friday evening ensured that Marcelo Bielsa’s team have clinched automatic promotion, with just one more point required to win the Championship title.
Leeds have now ended their 16-year exile from the top-flight and have played some real eye-catching football this season en route to promotion.
Manager Bielsa, who is adored by the Whites supporters, has built a team at Elland Road that dominate possession and have a relentless work-rate.
Former Leeds winger Aaron Lennon shared his delight on Twitter after promotion was clinched.

TBR’s View – Leeds fully deserve promotion
After the disappointment of the previous season, Leeds have fought back impressively this campaign and certainly deserve their promotion glory.
The Yorkshire giants started the season with five victories from the opening seven games to set out an early marker, while their seven-game winning run during November to December proved to be vital.
They have been pushed all the way, especially by West Brom and Brentford, but the title looks fairly likely with just a point required.
Bielsa’s elite mentality means the players are unlikely to take the foot off the gas, but elsewhere there are wild celebrations taking place in Leeds.
