Leeds United have been backed for success in the Premier League by their former striker, Chris Wood, with the Burnley man insisting Marcelo Bielsa will ensure things work out.
Wood spent two prolific seasons with Leeds before moving on to Burnley and was in fine form last season, scoring 14 times as the Clarets once again enjoyed a good campaign.

The New Zealand star keeps a close eye on his former club and has admitted he thinks they’ll be fine in the top-flight. (Quotes from Yorkshire Post)
“They’re going to be a real force in the Prem, they’re looking to stay up and if not go better.
“It’s been way too long, I enjoyed my two years there and I’m hoping to see them stay up for a long period of time. I think with the manager they’ve got they will be.”
Leeds are looking to strengthen their ranks ahead of their return to PL action and have already agreed a deal to bring back Jack Harrison on loan.

Bielsa is also thought to be keen on a number of other players, with Emmanuel Dennis, Lewis Cook, and Liverpool pair Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster just a few of the names mentioned of late.
Wood is right, Leeds should be just fine – TBR View
Sometimes you can just tell with a club that things are going to be ok and that’s exactly the impression you get with this Leeds team.
They’re full of energy, passion, and commitment and play completely into the beliefs Bielsa instils within them. That in itself is enough to give confidence.
Wood’s opinion on his former club seems to be spot on here. As long as they don’t get off to a disastrous start, then we should see Leeds cement themselves back as a top-flight club.
