Tottenham made a number of signings over the summer.
The north London club brought in the likes of James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario and Micky Van de Ven, and all have been great successes so far.
However, not all of Spurs’ summer signings have been hits. Manor Solomon has, unfortunately, spent most of his Spurs career so far on the sidelines with injury, and after just a few months in north London, there’s already chat about the Israeli being sold.
Speaking on The Tottenham Way Podcast, Dan Kilpatrick has been discussing Solomon’s future, and he says that you can’t rule out the idea of Solomon being sold as anything brought in for him would be pure profit after he arrived on a free.

Manor Solomon could be sold
Kilpatrick spoke about the winger.
“He (Solomon) was a free transfer. It was a clever or backhanded bit of business to get him from Shakhtar in those circumstances. Whatever Spurs sell him for, or if they were to sell him would be profit. It would make him a canny bit of business, and I don’t think that option can be ruled out if they sign a couple of wingers in the summer which is definitely a possibility,” Kilpatrick said.
Would make sense
This is the cut-throat nature of football these days.
Selling Manor Solomon this summer would make a lot of sense despite the fact he’s only been at the club for a year.
With FFP rules clamping down on every club at the moment, balancing the books is more important than ever, and selling a player who arrived on a free is a smart way to bolster your numbers on that front.
Solomon’s Spurs career hasn’t gone to plan due to injuries, and now, he could already be getting towards the end of the road.
