Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte says there’s a possibility Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski could start for Spurs on Sunday.

Tottenham snapped up the two players from Juventus on deadline day in the January transfer window.

Bentancur has penned a four-and-a-half-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, taking him to 2026.

According to Sky Sports, the deal for the 24-year-old could cost Tottenham £21.5million in total.

Meanwhile, Kulusevski joined on an 18-month loan deal for £8.3million.

In addition, Spurs reportedly have an obligation to buy the 21-year-old for £29.2million.

Neither Bentancur nor Kulusevski have made their full Tottenham debut as of yet.

Both came off the bench against Brighton in the FA Cup and Southampton in the Premier League.

Spurs have five fixtures between now and 1 March, so Conte will likely need to rotate his team at some point.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Wolves, the Tottenham boss replied when asked by football.london about whether Bentancur and Kulusevski could start.

“For sure this could be a possibility,” said Conte.

“We have another day of training to make our decision.

“They are working with the team and I prefer to wait until tomorrow to make the decision on the starting XI.”

Bentancur looks likely to get his first start this weekend.

However, Tottenham’s frontline players did fairly well against Southampton, so there’s not much need for change there.

Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura didn’t disappoint in the 3-2 defeat.

So unless one of them needs a rest, Kulusevski may have to wait a little longer for his first start.
