A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the transfer report linking the Gunners with Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Diogo Jota, as per the Daily Mail.
Mikel Arteta faces an important summer in wake of a difficult season at the Emirates Stadium and could look to rebuild and reshape the Gunners into a team challenging for trophies.
Jota has been a crucial player for Wolves since his initial loan switch from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2017, made permanent for 14million Euros (£12.7million), according to the Birmingham Mail.
To date, the 23-year-old has registered 43 goals and 19 assists in 120 appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, with 15 goals and six assists coming this season alone, according to Transfermarkt.
Arsenal are believed to be looking at wide attackers and Jota, who can play on the left of a front three or as part of a two-man strike partnership, is believed to be high on the Gunners’ wishlist.
The report has proven popular with many Gunners fans, who are dreaming of the prospect of Jota in their squad, and have urged the club to make a move for the Portugal international in the summer.
Here is some of the social media reaction to the report:

This guy is a more mobile Willian! I mean that as a massive compliment! Great athlete, underrated ball retention in the final third, and elite at progressing the play through dribbling during a transition! Could deploy him like Son with Pepe the more creative compliment at RW!

Excellent signing. Kind of a player we’ve not had. Industrious, technically brilliant and goalscorer.

I do wonder who we think we are right now. Why on earth would Jota sign for us?
