Arsenal full-back, Hector Bellerin, has praised the ‘amazing relationship’ he has with Rob Holding for helping him through his injury troubles.
The Spaniard has missed a considerable amount of time through injury while at Arsenal. This included a miserable nine month spell on the sidelines after a serious knock in January 2019.

However, Bellerin played for the Gunners in their 3-2 win over Everton in February. It looks, then, that Bellerin’s injury worries could be behind him in the main.
And the 25-year-old has revealed how his relationship with fellow Gunner, Rob Holding, helped him through some tough times on the sidelines.
“Rob Holding was like my first support. He was the person that messaged me first, the person that offered me his advice from the beginning,” Bellerin told the official Arsenal website.
Holding himself has struggled with injuries during his time at the Emirates. But Bellerin was keen to point out just how important the former Bolton man was to him.
“He had a great rehab process because he was hitting all of the targets whenever he needed to. He was going even further than he needed to at the time, so for me that was a great inspiration. I could properly see what the steps were and for me that was very helpful.
“Also, we’d always had an amazing relationship on and off the pitch anyway that obviously helped a lot,” Bellerin added.

It’s not often that players open up about things like this but this is great to read from Bellerin.

Rob Holding might not have always been one of the Gunners’ top performers. But it just shows how someone can have an influence on others at a football club without even playing.
These sorts of stories are inspiring. Holding is clearly a great guy and a determined professional.
Hector Bellerin will go on to be a vital player for Arsenal. Their fans, then, should not forget the debt of gratitude they might owe Holding in the long-term.
