Ahead of the summer, it seems both Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are already considering the signing of an 18-year-old who’s thriving in the Bundesliga.
Arteta’s side finally returned to Premier League action last night, securing a much needed 2-1 win against an improved Nottingham Forest.

Gabriel Jesus ultimately decided the game, something that should calm down the talk of signing a new striker.
Arsenal are constantly linked with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney right now, two seismic options for the summer.
However, it now seems as if Arteta’s side are also exploring alternative routes to improve their squad.
Alongside a striker, it’s obvious that Arsenal will need to recruit a midfielder.
Thomas Partey’s future is thought to still be undecided, as well as the contracts of both Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny.
It seems unfeasible that all three will leave, but two wouldn’t be a surprise.
Therefore, alongside a Douglas Luiz type signing, Arsenal would also have space for a project-player, leading to interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Larsson.
Arsenal now want to sign young Bundesliga star Hugo Larsson in summer
According to Bild, Arsenal would be keen to add 18-year-old Larsson to their squad this summer, a player with a growing reputation in the Bundesliga.
The Swede, who previously admitted he’s a Chelsea fan, joined Frankfurt from Malmo last summer.

Larsson operates best as a defensive midfielder, dictating play in front of the defence.
Such is his skillset, Larsson has often been touted as a young version of Manchester City midfielder Rodri – quite the compliment.
Depending on the fee, it does seem as if a move for the Swede could be very well considered, a player who could support two more senior options.
Larsson has played 26 games for Frankfurt since joining in the summer, 17 of those coming in the Bundesliga, so should be well set for a step up to a side like Arsenal.
That being said, one pundit thinks Arsenal only need one more signing in order to dominate games.
