After defeat against Liverpool yesterday, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side now look desperate for the arrival of a striker in January.
Not only have Arsenal struggled with their finishing in three consecutive losses, they also now have to contend with another knee injury for Gabriel Jesus.

Neither Eddie Nketiah or Kai Havertz look quite equipped to be the finisher Arsenal need right now, even if the latter showed promise in his minutes last night.
And with that in mind, many fans are now begging for Arteta to add a striker to his Arsenal squad in January.
The side have been strongly linked with both Ivan Toney and Dusan Vlahovic in the past six months.
And whilst Arsenal were goalless against Liverpool last night, Vlahovic was scoring a quite brilliant late winner for his side Juventus.
The £67m striker isn’t enjoying his most dominant season, sometimes finding himself on the bench, but with seven goals in 17 games he still knows where the net is.
Moreover, Vlahovic showed the exact characteristics of a striker Arsenal were lacking last night.
The Serbian wasn’t involved in much of Juventus’ game and build up play, but was there to settle the match with his instinctive finish.
Dusan Vlahovic would be an excellent January addition to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal squad
Following his display last night, EuroSport did provide a summary of Vlahovic’s performance which resulted in his 91st minute winner.
The rating described how the striker was fairly anonymous before his late header changed everything.

“His was a fairly colourless performance, the photograph of which was probably in the equaliser: by ‘clicking’ the ball, he had in fact done the best thing in his match.
“But then, in full recovery, as in Frosinone, he goes up to the fifth floor and changes history.
“Because that’s how it works for attackers: the goal makes all the difference in the world.”
And Arsenal fans will tell you right now that a goal really does change everything.
The arrival of a striker will probably require players to leave, with perhaps Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah looking like the most suitable candidates.
But it’s certainly a difficult one to balance for Arteta in January, a striker is not the only recruit Arsenal need.
However, fans might be pleased to hear one of their targets admit he’s an Arsenal fan.
