Liverpool made it eight consecutive wins in all competitions as Jurgen Klopp’s charges beat Norwich at Anfield.
However, the Reds were made to sweat as the Canaries threatened to cause a major upset on Merseyside.
Liverpool had threatened the Norwich goal multiple times but, come half time, the score was still goalless.

Then, not long after the restart, the visitors grabbed the first goal of the game.
Milot Rashica’s effort from range flicked off Joel Matip’s leg and looped into the corner with Alisson stranded.
However, Sadio Mane lifted the tension just after the hour.
The Senegal international weighed in with an acrobatic effort from Kostas Tsimikas’ header in the 64th minute.
Three minutes later, Liverpool turned the game around with their second.
Mohamed Salah raced onto a huge Alisson clearance to round Angus Gunn and slot home his 150th Liverpool goal.
And to cap off a marvellous afternoon for the Reds, Luis Diaz got his first goal for the club.
Jordan Henderson split the Norwich defence with a through-ball for the January signing.
The Colombia international duly lifted the ball over Gunn to send the home crowd into raptures.
Tsimikas delivers once again
While every Liverpool player did well, we feel Tsimikas in particular deserves a shout-out.
The Greece international has once again stepped up to deliver when called upon.

Klopp opted to start Tsimikas ahead of Andrew Robertson against Norwich, and he played superbly.
Aside from creating Liverpool’s desperately-needed equaliser, the 25-year-old clocked up some great stats.
Tsimikas took 99 touches of the ball, made 63 passes at 84.1% accuracy, and made two key passes (Whoscored).
He also weighed in with a staggering 13 crosses and four long balls.
Tsimikas also had three efforts, one on target, and made four tackles, one interception and two clearances.
While Robertson remains Klopp’s first-choice left-back, Tsimikas is fast becoming an Anfield cult hero with his attitude, personality and of course, world-class talent.
