Jack Grealish has played a crucial role in Aston Villa’s promotion push with 10 consecutive wins confirming a play-off spot.

The 23-year-old midfielder has returned from injury and is now captaining his boyhood club as they hope to take their form into the play-offs.

But his top performances have not gone unnoticed. According to The Daily Mail, Crystal Palace want to sign Grealish.

Crystal Palace currently sit 12th in the Premier League and have identified Grealish as a potential replacement for £80m-rated Wilfried Zaha.

With several clubs eyeing Zaha, Grealish could be about to step into the Ivorian’s boots as the Eagles’ main man in attack.

Grealish has been told by Gareth Southgate that he must be playing Premier League football to receive an England call-up, as per The Telegraph.

And that could work in Crystal Palace’s favour if Aston Villa fail to win promotion this season. But Aston Villa fans do not think their prize asset will be interested in swapping Villa Park for Selhurst Park.
